[Dreamboard] Lockscreen is fixed, finally!

Yah! I have finally fixed an annoying bug in lockscreen, now it cheking password correctly all the time. I spend some time trying to bypass unresponding left part of lockscreen but failed. Seems like part of original lockscreen is blocking it, so "enter" button on keyboard still not working. I can move keyboard to the left corner to make it work, but this will make lockscreen look not good. Thinking of making it movable.

Also i have managed how to force ios to show lockscreen instead of desctop when i opening keyboard case. I used Activator tweak, on open case i used "simulate top button", on "close case" - "lock".

I have found very useful tweak Smart Close. It can be used via Activator and puts active programs to deep sleep saving some power. Repo: http://rpetri.ch/repo/

Something that will never be released

Long time ago i found an emulator of Mac OS System 7. Here is the link. I decided to make it's shell for my ipad. But after i've made desctop i've found elements to little, so i've stopped the development. Also i've made a shell for my Nokia e72, but soon i bacame tired of gray style. Both designs are abandoned.

[Android] New phone, new shell

I'm back!

Few weeks ago i have received my new smartphone Samsung i927. I was looking for a phone with physical keyboard, and this one was the best choice: nice style, 1gb ram, dual core 1GHz, 4 inch screen. Not so powerfull as many may say, but for me it's perfect. The main reason of buying this model is hardware keyboard. Some time ago i began to work via terminal and remote a lot, and i got tired of onscreen keyboard. It's nice when you need to send some short messages, but when you need to write lots of commands in console...

First of all i have flashed phone with custom rom and reprogrammed keyboard to add my native language support. Than i have changed density to make all elements smaller. The original density was 240, i looked through some forums and found that proper values are: 120, 160, 240, 320. I choose 160, and also cheked "bigger fonts" in settings to make all system fonts a bit bigger and readable. I like what i've got in the end.

Also i bagan to create new interface for this phone. For now i choose Ubuntu Unity 13.10 cause i have some graphics already.
Main desctop and all programs window are finished, now thinking of additional features.

On the right is my phone, on the left is my friend's one i was given to flash MIUI (it was a hell to flash it btw, don't like LG)

Also i've shared my main phone design in GDesk section

[Dreamboard] Guest mode is finished

I've finished guest mode. Guest mode has it's own desctop and left bar icons, has no acces to mail, rss, all programs window and settings. After finishing adding programs guest can use, you can switch off Editing Mode activator in settings.
Guest mode can be switched off in settings.

Guest mode is not like in desctop os, this is just a set of accessible icons. Gust can use task manager as everyone and acces any opened programs via it.

I have improved password check and login scripts, got a few more megabytes of free ram.

[Dreamboard] App Grid, Guest mode

I decided to change application grid on the desctops. First time i made application grid the same as ubuntu's one. Today i have changed text size from 15 to 12 and space between icons.
Added support for setting amount of placeholders on left panel.
Added application grids for guest mode.
Extended password length to 20 symbols.

Found two useful cydia tweaks:
20 Second Lockscreen - tweak allows to set custom time lockscreen dim, nothing more. Will be useful to enter long passwords.
TouchPose+ - tweak places custom image at the touch coordinates. I use it with mouse arrow icon to add effect of desctop pc.

[Dreamboard] Ubuntu Unity is coming to iOS

My goal is to make Ubuntu 13.10 Dreamboard based theme as close to original Ubuntu 13.10 as possible.

The Beginning

My friend said i need to create a blog to share my works, i thought why not.
